The Early Internationals - Scotland V England




On Saturday the 30th November 1872, history was made. The very first organized International match between Scotland and England. Played at Hamilton Crescent, the home of Glasgow cricket club, West Of Scotland CC, in front of a crowd of 4000, the game was drawn. Newspaper sketches of the game can be viewed above, along with the Scotland team from that day, all of whom were registered Queens Park FC players.
